How do gift cards work?+
The recipient receives a unique code via email. They enter the code at /gift-cards to redeem it. The balance is added to their Valéne wallet and can be used across multiple rentals.
Do gift cards expire?+
No. Valéne gift cards never expire and hold their full value indefinitely.
Can gift cards be used for any rental?+
Yes. Wallet credit (loaded from gift cards) can be applied to any rental checkout, including service fees. It cannot be used for shipping or delivery charges.
Can I refund a gift card?+
Unused gift cards can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Once any portion has been redeemed, the card is non-refundable.
What if the recipient does not have an account?+
The code is valid for any account that uses it. When someone redeems the code, the gift card is automatically linked to their account.
